He’s a passionate, classically trained chef with over 20 years of experience in the culinary field, known for blending innovation with tradition. As a 9th generation Tejano, he brings deep cultural roots and a rich culinary perspective to his craft. His career highlights include multiple accolades, media appearances, and leadership roles in esteemed kitchens.

Trever and Merritt Butler, proud Texas A&M graduates, are the owners of Spring Creek and their newest venture, Desert Spoon.
Trever, with a Bachelor of Science in Horticulture, blends her love of plants, design expertise, and retail eye to create the perfect shopping destination, with one of her favorite projects being The Shoppe at Spring Creek.
Merritt, holding a Master’s in Economics, brings a solid business foundation to their culinary ventures and is excited about the unique experience Desert Spoon will offer, building on the legacy of Spring Creek.
Together, they combine creativity, passion, and expertise to craft unforgettable experiences within the gates of Spring Creek.
